Well, fillers are almost always worse than manga... Sad but true. Assuming that
Bleach won't be an exeption here, I didn't have especially high expectations,
but still... they're just terrible! I
think I'll just stop watching the anime until it catches up with manga... Hope
they won't spoil the original plot then!
I liked both anime and manga until the very end of Soul Society act - they
didn't differ very much in fact, so why shouldn't I? But I
just can't stand the filler... It's so annoying! So now I'm waiting impatiently
for anime to catch up with manga... Wonder how long it's going to take...
Fillers ar bad, in fact VERY bad both in Naruto and in Bleach. But all in all I
think Bleach is definitively better. I find the characters development and
storyline more interesting and the humor more funny. Animation is much more my
cup of tea as well. So... go Bleach go!:)
Apart from few AMVs already mention above, like Whisper of the beast, I would
also recommend Eternal Chronical (AIR, Nightwish), Trauer (Wolf's Rain,
Rammstein), Nadezhda (Heibane Renmei, Dolphin), Ayreon shooting company (Last
Exile), Angels (X), Revenge (Cowboy Bebop). And The Fall - a shocking
masterpiece! some AMVs by Pokich, belong to my favourites as well, for example
Won't save (Kumo no mukou. Yakusoku no basho). And few lighthearted choices: The
wizard of Ozaka, Azumerica... There are plenty of great creators out there and
you can find all of them at animemusicviideos
Enjoy!
Here are some of my favourites:
Aquarian Age
Basilisk
Le Portrait de Petit Cosette
Elfen Lied
Vision of Escaflone
Mai Hime/ Mai Otome
Please Save My Earth
Wolf's Rain
Vampire Princess Miyu TV
X-OVA
Plenty more of them of course...
Books, books, books and once again - books! The movies with their beautiful
landscapes and spectacular battle scenes were of course very enjoyable to watch,
but as far as the plot is concerned... Well... It got worse with every part.
In my humble opinion, that is
Well, I think it's a good manga. Can't say the artwork is really my cup of tea,
but I found the storyline quite intriguing. When I got into it, I actually
could't stop reading and concentrate on my studies. Actually, it even almost
made me fail one exam, shame on me!;) Still, now when I think of it, Basara was
just one of first manga I have ever read. Perheps that's why, despite all its
obvious flaws, I remember it as a bit special. ..?
By the way, Basara is extremly popular among my Japanese friends. Of course -
girls. Guys definately don't like it so much. Guess why?:)
Oh, yes, I'm coursed! In
fact - me and a group of my mountain-walking friends are, ever since one of them
has broke up with his girlfriend, just before going to one beautiful spot in the
mountains. For the last 6 years or so, we've been trying to visit this spot - no
luck. Something always goes wrong - the weather, the trains, the booking... I
think the girl must have been a witch. A very skillfull one indeed:)
Well... I would say that anime&manga play quite an important part in my
life... First of all - they are just wonderful for practicing my japaneese
skills:) Great pastime and a way to relax after a tiresome day as well. Not to
forget about the collectors joy aspect! Yes, as far as anime is conserned I feel
like a big, fat dragon, trying to gather all the treasures in it's cave:) Still
- books are better. And they ignite my collectors passion even more:)
